We assist you in discovering your style and honing your wishlist. We use photos and questionnaires to learn about how you live and what you envision your new space to be. We have a conversation regarding your budgetary requirements. We also start the process of breaking down all those overwhelming design decisions into smaller, easier-to-manage bits.

Once the decision to move forward with Killam & Wylde has been made, we come to your home to take measurements, snap photographs, and get familiar with your space. We address any questions you have, finalize budgetary requirements, and refer you to our manufacturing partners so you get competitive pricing on appliances, lighting and other high-budget items.

This is the most exciting meeting! You get to see a model of your newly designed space accompanied with technical drawings and appropriate samples. At this stage we go over the plan and address any changes and modifications to the layout or materials. Then, we do a final budget review.

We supply you with a week-by-week work schedule so that there are no surprises. We pick an official start date together so that you can be prepared. At this point, we also supply you with a “Things To Do” list in preparation of your project commencement. On the start day, everyone comes together like a symphony to make your dream space a reality.

Your vision is accomplished! After all the work is completed, we get together for the final walk through. We snap photographs and present you with your client binder (which has all your materials, colours, warranties and products documented for you to easily reference). There might even be some fun photos in there as well! We endeavor to build long lasting relationships with every client and every project we do.
